NJHS Holds Food Drive

“I loved what we did for the food pantry... we have never done something like that before,” exclaimed Haley Waight, a Holden Middle School National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) member. The NJHS, led by Mrs. Janine Ferguson, held their first service project of the school year last month. “When I was participating in the food drive it made me feel good because I was helping people. I thought we were very successful because we had collected over 500 cans,” said NJHS President, Ashtyn Treece. NJHS member Neil Tebbenkamp added, “I love helping people because it gives me a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment.”
