Early Learning

Our Eagles Nest program provides a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally-appropriate environment. Our curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs, interests, and learning styles of preschool-aged children. It incorporates hands-on, play-based learning activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Play is recognized as the primary mode of learning for young children. Ample time and space is provided for children to engage in free play, as well as teacher-guided play activities that build important skills.

Our Special Education program offers developmentally appropriate educational and social and emotional learning opportunities for IEP students. We partner with First Step and Parents As Teachers to help identify children in our community who need unique help when preparing for kindergarten. Holden School District also offers yearly preschool screenings as well as additional screenings upon parent request.

Parents as Teachers can help you capture those windows of opportunity so that your child starts school ready to succeed. The mission of Parents as Teachers is to provide information, support, and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. Our amazing parent educator is highly trained to conduct home visits and connect parents to any resources they may need to provide the best opportunities for their child.
