    Support Staff Employment Opportunities

    The Holden R-III District has openings for the following support staff positions: 

    Part-time (20 hours per week) Parents As Teachers educator for the 2021-22 school year-

    Candidates will need to meet one of the following criteria:

    • Certification and/or a four year degree in one of the following:
      • Early Childhood Education
      • Early Childhood Special Education
      • Elementary Education
      • Vocational Home Economics or Family and consumer Sciences
      • Child Development OR
    • A 2 year associate degree or two-year certificate program in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Nursing and demonstrated ability in working with young children and parents; OR
    • Sixty semester hours or more of credit from an academic degree granting institution and 2 years of successful experience in a program working with young children and their parents as approved by DESE; OR
    • Five years of successful experience in a program working with young children and their parents as approved by DESE; AND
    • Successful completion of Department-approved training in parent education (a minimum of 30 hours preservice).

    Substitutes - To substitute teach within the Holden R-III School District, you must be on file as a substitute teacher. In addition to substitute teachers, the Holden R-III School District utilizes substitutes for paraprofessional staff (clerical and classroom aides) as well as nursing staff.
