HHS offers an ACT preparation workshop prior to each administration of the ACT assessment. An ACT Workshop Registration Form must be completed and turned in to the Office with a $15 fee payment prior to participation in the workshop. See your counselor for more information or pick up a registration form in the office or on-line. Three ACT workshops will be offered this school year.

    2020-2021 Dates TBD

Workshops are from 7:45 - 2:00. If students attend the entire workshop and take the ACT, they will be refunded the cost of both the ACT and the workshop.

As an incentive for HHS students to do their best on the ACT, the student may receive a full refund of her/his registration fees for up to 3 different ACT assessments and the corresponding ACT workshops in which the student participates during her/his high school career. In order to qualify for this refund, the student must participate fully in both the workshop and the ACT. Refund checks will be issued to the student from the office several weeks following testing.

The HHS library and any public library or bookstore offers ACT preparation guides that include sample test questions and tests. Other ACT preparation resources can be found on the ACT website: www.act.org. Additionally, a helpful ACT study guide can be found on-line at: http://www.studyguidezone.com/acttest.htm
