Board of Education
Mission
The mission for Holden R-3 School District is for all students, upon graduation, to have marketable skills or the basis to be eligible for post-secondary educational opportunities.
District Strategic Plan
The district has a Board-approved District Strategic Plan guided by the mission statement and based on the district's fundamental beliefs about teaching and learning. This plan serves as the district's foundation for allocating resources, developing policies and procedures, and selecting and implementing instructional programs designed to raise student achievement.
The District Strategic Plan was developed through the combined efforts of board members, staff, administrators, students, parents/guardians and community members and is ongoing. Goals, outcomes and objectives are provided in sufficient detail to direct the improvement efforts of the district for at least a five-year period. The District Strategic Plan is evaluated and updated as necessary. You can download a copy of the district's District Strategic Plan from our website here.
