Dr. Emily Brockhaus Delivers Closing Keynote at Statewide Principals Conference
We’re proud to celebrate one of our own!
Dr. Emily Brockhaus, who serves as both our W.I.N.G.S. Academy Director and Curriculum Director was invited to be the closing keynote speaker at the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MoASSP) Conference last week at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Her message focused on something that matters deeply in education—showing empathy for students, even when it’s not easy.
Dr. Brockhaus represented Holden R-3 with heart and authenticity. One attendee shared that her message was impactful, noting that “the passion she has for students shines through in everything she does.”
Around here, we’re not surprised. As one of our board members puts it, she’s a true “sunshine spreader.” 
And as one parent said so well, “We are so blessed to have Dr. Brockhaus in our school system.”
We couldn’t agree more.
