    Strong Start Plan - 2021/2022

Starting the Process

  • Welcome to Holden - we're glad you're here!

If you are enrolling during the school year, please begin at the building they will attend.

    We have 3 schools:
    Holden Elementary - Preschool-5th grade
    1903 S Market        (816) 732-6071

Holden Middle School - 6th through 8th grades
    301 Eagle Drive        (816) 732-4125

Holden High School - 9th through 12th grades
    1901 S Main        (816) 732-5523

Items you will need to bring to aid in enrollment:
    • proof of residency (a utility bill, bank statement or pay check stub with guardian's name and address listed)
    • student's birth certificate
    • student's immunization record

Once residency is verified, a request will be sent to the previous school for the cumulative student file. (This may take from 1 to 3 days, or longer in the case of a school break, for those records to be transferred). At the high school level, the student and parent will meet with a Counselor to determine a schedule after the records have been received.

Virtual Course Enrollment

  • Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) was established in 2007 as the state's online school.  MOCAP's mission is to offer Missouri students equal access to a wide range of high quality courses, and interactive online learning that is neither time nor place dependent (mocap.mo.gov).

Local school districts may use their own preferred online provider. For the Holden R-III School District, Edgenuity is the preferred provider. Edgenuity Courseware offers many AP, honors, language, and credit recovery courses.

For more information and to enroll in a virtual course, please contact your child's school office.
