Annual Shirley Burgin Memorial Scholarship
Deadline - July 15, 2006
Applicants must be a Johnson County resident, show
financial need and show serious intent in the
pursuit
of a Health Service Career, which could be
professional, technical, or advanced degree in the
fields listed: RN, BSN, LPN, OT, PT, Dental
Hygiene,
Dental Lab, Lab Tech, Dietician, Nutritionist,
Sanitarian, Radiology Tech, Prosthetics, Cardio-
Pulmonary Respiratory Therapist, Paramedics, EMT,
Pharmacist, Environmental Health. Applications are
available in the office.
OP Loftbed $500 Scholarship Award
Deadline - July 31, 2006
This scholarship is awarded to a student whom the
judges feel provided the most interesting answers
to a set of questions. Applications must be filled

Applicants must write an essay, sharing a personal
story of how you learn outside of the classroom.
Your essay should be between 100 and 200 words.
